FEBRUARY GENERAL MEETING MINUTES

President, Todd Jennings welcomed all members.

Club Business & Information

Todd acknowledged Sullivan Striders President, Dennis Toscano's attending our meeting.

• Todd introduced the club's 2008 Officers.
• Richard D'Ambrosio will be handling the “Not So Sweaty Gazette”
• Phil Melillo will be handling Membership and Setting up our website along with his son Mark.
• The club is looking for anyone interested in maintaining the website once it's up and running.
• The club is also looking for someone to handle our clothing and also someone to manage our general business affairs.
• George Shurter gave his monthly Treasury Report.
• Bill updated the club on the progress of this year's Winter Series.
• Newsletter has gone to print.

Upcoming Events & Club Functions  

• Club Mixer at the Guilded Otter in New Paltz on Friday, Feb 22 nd .
• Practice Runs for the March 2 nd Celebrate Life Half-Marathon held every other Saturdays. See Sullivan Striders' website for more details.
• Club Challenge will be held on Sunday, March 9 th at Bull Park @ 11am .
• Track Season will tentatively begin Wednesday, March 12 th @ Minisink High School Track with Bill Schneider as Coach.
  
  Inter-Club Challenge  

• Sunday, March 9 th at Bull Park @ 11am outside Pavilion with plexiglass
• Dave Badolato & Tara Pipia are our club's liaison
• Cost is $5, and members are asked to bring a covered dish.
  

Guest Speaker was Phil Melillo. Phil presented the club's new website demonstration.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:45 pm.

Next month's meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 5 th. Location to be announced.
