To all our Running and Walking family,

Governor Cuomo has issued below:

All nonessential businesses in New York State will be ordered to keep their workers home starting Sunday evening, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said on Friday.

Cuomo said he would sign an executive order barring people from traveling to work unless they are employees of essential businesses like pharmacies or grocery stores.

Civil fines will be issued for businesses that don't comply with the order, Cuomo said, adding that the order is not a shelter-in-place mandate.

The order says all nonessential gatherings of any size for any reason should be canceled or postponed, he said.

Cuomo ordered New Yorkers to limit outdoor activities to those without contact and said they should avoid public transportation unless absolutely necessary.

These are definitely troubling times, however, I encourage everyone to maintain optimism and healthy procedures to enable us to keep moving forward.

Currently, Sunday morning group runs are on a hiatus for 2 weeks, we will review after April 5, 2020.  Also, track workouts will be pushed back to approximately May 6, 2020.  We will continue to update as we navigate through this unchartered territory,

I encourage all to stay safe, practice the procedures outlined from our governing officials and most importantly, lets all try to stay connected.  This will be our mantra moving forward, touch base with one aonther, post a solo run selfie and know that we are here for you.  Stay strong ORC!

P.S.  I will be in contact with Old Erie Restaurant, but will most likely cancel our April 1, monthly meeting.
