125th Anniversary - Running the 1.25 Mile

The Orange Runners Club with a long tradition of running in the City of Middletown area with events such as the Classic 10K, Ruthie Dino 5K, and the ever popular Run 4 Downtown, is celebrating along with the city with a one-time club event to encourage and support the well-being and health of the citizens. The Historic Hustle road race is a celebration of the past 125 years since the city's incorporation and a message of encouragement for the future of the city of Middletown. With each step of the 1.25 mile race course we celebrate every past year and culminate at the finish line with the joy of the present - and the promise held only by the future. The course is a short uphill on Highland avenue, then downhill all the way back to a Franklin Square finish where each runner will receive a commemorative award! |
